Portable Extinguishers Inspections were performed at this customer's location. It is an apartment complex that has a few fire extinguishers.

I called to schedule the fire extinguisher inspection at this location. Upon arrival I did a quick site survey then proceeded to physically inspect each fire extinguisher. I checked them for proper placement and to make sure that they had the proper signs. I then checked each fire extinguisher for hose blockage and to make sure the gauge was in the green. I found that they needed an FE36 for a clean room. I sold them one of these fire extinguishers. I concluded the inspections and let the customer know that unless the gauges go into the red or the fire extinguishers are used they are good for another year.

Customer was on my work order list for their annual fire extinguisher inspection. I called and made an appointment to get those updated for them. Upon arrival I found the fire extinguishers, inspected them, checked the gauges and put them back on the wall. I advised the customer to have them checked annually to stay code compliant. I also let them know that I would be available if someone had to use one.
